Our clients have lived and breathed in the music industry and have a lot of valuable things to say about the lessons they have learned along the way. This past month we sat down with three of our clients to hear about the latest chapter in each of their success stories. Read below for the inside scoop.

Jim McBride

Songwriter and Co-Founder of Copyright Recapture

Jim’s company, Copyright Recapture, now has over 100 clients and continues to help songwriters and estates recapture the publishing back on their songs. Jim has also taken the cap off his pen and is back in the groove again writing hit songs. He has recently signed with Judy Harris Music (JHM), a well-respected independent publisher in Nashville, which is run by Judy Harris (formerly with CBS Songs) and Margie Hunt (former A&R director of CBS Records).

Loni Rose

Singer/Songwriter

Loni recently moved to Nashville and has been embraced by the Nashville songwriting community, collaborating with an impressive artist roster including Shawn Mullins, Chuck Cannon (Toby Keith), Jeff Trott (Sheryl Crow), Joe West (Keith Urban), artist Carolyn Dawn Johnson, and writer/producer Trey Bruce (Trace Adkins). This past December Loni's song, "Trying Hard" was featured in the Garth Brooks Lifetime movie, "Unanswered Prayers." Loni will be in the studio this spring to record her follow-up album. Dave Pahanish

The past two years have been quite the ride for country singer/songwriter Dave Pahanish. Dave wrapped up 2010 with a co-write on Toby Keith’s new number one hit, “American Ride” (co-written with Joe West). Even more recently, Dave holds the songwriting credit for Keith Urban’s new single,” With You,” and landed two songs on Tim McGraw’s newest album, which is to be released this spring. When Dave wasn’t writing number one hits for country’s top artists last year, he stayed busy working on his second solo album which is to be released this March. And did we mention he got hitched to the fabulous and talented Kristen Lee? Congrats Dave!
